把自然帶進課堂——記中英文課程班九月活動

中秋過后，校園又恢復了往日的熱鬧，在進行日常教學的同時，中英文課程班的老師們每隔幾天就會聚在一起商量討論，在經過一系列準備活動后，今天，他們行動啦。

In the days following Mid-autumn Festival, life at school has returned to its usual rhythm. The teachers of Haiwai’s bilingual program have recently been discussing what other activities our students could get up to, besides regular classes. After many days of planning and preparation, we’re finally ready to show you what we’ve been up to.

一二年級的老師們帶著同學們走出教室，進行了一次校園小游，小朋友們觀察花朵、蝴蝶、小鳥和昆蟲，挑選掉落的樹葉，大家聚在一起吹泡泡，做游戲，唱唱跳跳好生熱鬧，回到教室制作了一朵朵漂亮的小花，一只只可愛的蝴蝶。

Today, our first and second grade teachers led their students out of the classroom and into the nature of the school grounds to check out the flowers, butterflies, bugs and birds. Our students had lots of fun collecting fallen leaves, blowing bubbles, playing games and singing and dancing. Once our students returned to the classroom, they crafted their very own beautiful flowers and cute butterflies and other creepy-crawlies.

快來看看，中英文課程班的老師們又在研究什么？原來是在給小盆友們的作品“安家”，美術老師幫我們起稿，老師們一起進行涂色，從草叢到大樹，從山川到天空。

Here you can see our teachers working together to make a ‘home’ for all their students’ handcrafted flora and fauna. After the art teacher helped sketch an outline, our teachers painted in every detail, from grasses and weeds to tall trees and mountains stretching into the blue sky.

路過的小朋友們都興奮極了，迫不及待的給自己的作品找位置。

Students walking by were very excited to see such a sight unfold, and couldn’t wait to settle their creations in their new home.

“我的小蜜蜂要在花朵上采蜜”

同學們拿著自己的作品，興高采烈地討論著他們的位置，就這樣，光禿的地面開出了美麗的花朵，翠綠的樹上有蝴蝶和小瓢蟲的光顧，大家都開心極了，一到課間就去看自己的小花小草。

Handicraft in hand, our students elatedly conferred where best to place their work. Here is the final product: We can see flowers blooming on dusty plains and butterflies and ladybugs visiting the verdant treetops. Now, during breaktime, our students happily run down to check on their little friends.
